How to Measure – using a soft tape measure, measure your head circumference around your forehead area approximately where you wear your hats or would like your hat to sit.

Spot clean only – never put your hat in the washing machine or fully immerse your hat in water.

To dust – use a soft hat brush, similar in colour to your hat to remove any dust. Avoid hard bristles as this can damage your hat.  Alternatively, use a slightly damp cloth to clean the surface of your hat in a counter clockwise direction. 

For stains that cannot be removed with a brush, you can use soft small-pore sponges to clean up, such as cotton pads. Or you can also use a soft rubber eraser to clean up in a counterclockwise direction.

Steaming the hat with hot steam. Please use a steam iron to reshape back to original shape, especially where there are dents.  The wool felt itself holds its memory, it will return to its original shape by hot steaming

Storage – do not store your hat on uneven surfaces as over time this can reshape your hat.  Store hat on a flat surface.

Remember – wool is a natural product.  Like all natural products your hat may fade over time due to sun exposure.  We recommend never storing your hat in direct sunlight (like the dash of your car) as the heat and sun can cause your hat to shrink and discolour your hat.

Your hat is handmade and although we have the best team and quality control systems – there maybe some slight differences.
